On tap at the Garden City brewery/taproom clear deep redish brown. Woody toasted grains. Dry almost astringent finish. Some woody bitterness at the end

On tap at the brewery pours out golden topped with a sand head. Nose is sweet caramel toffee malts some spice and a metallic note. Taste is more of metallic notes sweet spice malts and some pitfruit.

Draft at Barbarian Downtown. Hazy amber pour, small, silky off-white head, lacing. Malty aroma, caramel. Taste continues the maltiness, apropos for the style. Faint sweetness and some moderate bitterness.
