Bottle picked up from a Getrankemarkt at Gunzing and consumed at home Tuesday 26th August 2025, after a little bit of gardening arrangement today (burying 50metres of hose and connected the pump at the well to the vegetable garden). Listening to ByteFM )Thea Gilmore singing 'Dancing in the Dark' and after that 'Sweet Child ol' Mine'. We have Spaghetti Bolognese for tea tonight. Pours clear gold with a mid/large foamy white head. Soft in the mouthfeel, clean tasting and you feel that some of the banana and toffee have been stripped away as a result of it being a Kristalweizen definitely something gets lost, that said it's a pleasant beer.

Stel idioten.

Maar wel nu echt kristallweizen L2.

500 ml bottle. Clearest light golden with a fluffy head. Grainy, yeasty and wheat, dry lemon and lemon zest, bread, dough. Dry citrus bitterness, grainy yeasty sweetness. Medium bodied, oily chalky texture, lively carbonated, dry grainy yeasty bready finish. Quite a good Kristall. Interesting that this brewery has actually invented this style in 1924.

Bottle (thanks roman). Purs pale yellow with whiteish head. Aroma is sweet, grains, esthers, slight wheatiness. Flavor is sweet and bitter, floral, fruits, sugar, grains, some wheatiness. Overall: drinkable, but feels very lagerish.

27-07-17 // 500ml bottle. Pours a clear light golden beer with a small white head. Yeah I still struggle with Kristallweizen, they taste refreshing on warm days but I still dont understand them. Its a bit like a pils with mild banana notes.
