Backlog. Brownish copper hazy colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is chocolate, syrup, mild figs, some toffee, alcohol and mild burnt sugary tones. Flavour is wood, chocolate, some mild nutty tones with figs, dates and raisins as well as some alcohol, burnt sugar and mild coffee and toasted toens too. Hides the alcohol surprisingly well, even though you can feel it's there.

Bottled 500ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him, hrabren and veceo. Almost black coloured, minimal beige head, wax, alcohol and carob in the nose. Wax, caramel, heavy carob, alcohol and notes of wood with sticky sweetness in the finish.

So these crazy fucks (whom I love) put up an 18% beer in a 0.5l bottle because why not. Huge, huge thanks Papsoe! Murky brown body with an off white ehad. Pungent, sharp aroma, chocolates, figs, loads of carob, wax, brown sugar, barrel, dustiness. Sweet taste, less complex... toasted brown sugar if that makes sense, coffee, nice toastiness really, lean for the ABV with alcohol present but not much in the way. Extremely drinkable for the 18%!

0.5 l bottle. Huge thanks to Marko for bringing this. Shared with Veceo, Ogi and him. Black, minimal head. Glue, wax, dried dates, fruit jam, liqueur, syrup or candy, some barrel or wood, honey. Very thick and sticky, sweet, all types of dried fruit. Candy, herbal pastilles! Cough syrup! Warming. Finish is chocolate, cocoa, alcohol actually hidden. Carob liqueur! A unique experience.

Bottle. Pitch black, no real head, just a thin beige ring. A bit gentler malty nose, cocoa and honey, chocolate. Lots of dry fruits. Intense sweetness, chocolate, cherry syrup, honey. Again, lots of dry fruitiness. Very sweet liqueur feel, alcohol very nicely hidden. Gentle bitterness, berry feel in the aftertaste. Full, thick and silky body.

Bottle. Trade with Vindueskigger. Thanks. Pours Dark ruby amber with no head. Massive Wood and port. Overwhelming in a good Way. Cognac, Dark dried fruit, caramel, vanilla and slight booze - bit amazingly little compared to 18%. Wauw , just wauw. Soft, smooth and vinous. Brilliant in all aspects and such a Nice sipper. Looong finish.

Bottle 500ml. [ As Amager Big, Bold & Beautiful ].Clear dark red brown colour with a small, frothy and open, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to beige head. Aroma is heavy malty, molasses, dark malt, cognac - tequila, wood, alcohol. Flavor is heavy sweet with a long duration, raisin, prunes, dark fruit, alcohol, plum, cognac - tequila. IMO a very nice sipper. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - syrupy, carbonation is flat, finish feel is moderate alcoholic. [20180414] 7-2-9-4-18

Bottle, #290, shared with @ Inbreak & friends, nine years before bbd. Pours dark maroon, with no head. Aroma is dark roasted malts, with herbal notes, kandi sugar, prunes and leather. Creamy body, with almost no carbonation. Flavour is sweet notes of vanilla, cocoa, muscovado and liquorice, as well as dark fruity notes of raisins, prunes and leather.

Tiny bubbly shortlasting head, deep dark pour. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish boozy, oak, raisins, dark sugar, dark malts, minerals, booze, bark, fruit stones, prunes, tequila, cognac, cocoa, figs. Taste is sweet mineraly, raisins, dark sugar, prunes, dates, oak, minerals, dark malts, figs, alcohol, bark, caramel, chocolate. Medium bitterness, sweet syrupy mouthfeel. Nice one.
