AROMA- strongly roasted to slightly burnt, burnt prunes, dark chocolate, pralines, touch of leafy hops. FLAVOR- smooth, slightly sweet, moderately bitter, warming, sherry, pralines, dark chocolate, cocoa nibs, some leafy hops. Fuller to full bodied. Perfect Imperial stout.

Dark brown colour, minimal brown head. Aroma is coffee, dark chocolate, prune, a bit of resin. Heavy bitterness. Full body. Very good!

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with late awakening, small, creamy, fading, dark brown head. Roasty, chocolately, dark malty, slightly spicy and fruity aroma, notes of coffee, dark chocolate, Belgian chocolate, hints of dried fruit, raisin, plum, a touch of tobacco and liquorice. Taste is roasty, chocolately, dark malty, slightly fruity and spicy, slightly alcoholic, subtle sweetness, notes of dark chocolate, couverture, coffee, some dried fruit, raisin, plum, a touch of tobacco and liquorice; sweeter and cleaner finish with some caramel in addition, alcohol soaked dried fruit, less roasty aspects. Oily to viscous texture, smooth and soft, silky palate, fine, soft to flat carbonation. Balanced, harmonious, well embedded alcohol, not overly complex - pleasing.
