Idiota (Idiot) is our first Russian Imperial Stout and is exactly how we wanted – complex, powerful, but at the same time smooth, oily and super drinkable. The aroma and taste of this beer matches the complexity of Russian history: coffee, chocolate, toffee, licorice, nuts, molasses, forest fleece, dark dried fruits, and hop hog spice.

We recommend drinking it with small sips while being careful.

Be sure to try our barrel aged versions of Idiota as well – Igrok and Bies!

One extra beer, Sabrí's, for our 11th wedding anniversary. Three and three quarters years aged. Black, opaque: well, Sabrí... AROMA- strongly roasted to slightly burnt, burnt prunes, dark chocolate, pralines, touch of leafy hops. FLAVOR- smooth, slightly sweet, moderately bitter, warming, sherry, pralines, dark chocolate, cocoa nibs, some leafy hops. Fuller to full bodied. Perfect Imperial stout.

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with late awakening, small, creamy, fading, dark brown head. Roasty, chocolately, dark malty, slightly spicy and fruity aroma, notes of coffee, dark chocolate, Belgian chocolate, hints of dried fruit, raisin, plum, a touch of tobacco and liquorice. Taste is roasty, chocolately, dark malty, slightly fruity and spicy, slightly alcoholic, subtle sweetness, notes of dark chocolate, couverture, coffee, some dried fruit, raisin, plum, a touch of tobacco and liquorice; sweeter and cleaner finish with some caramel in addition, alcohol soaked dried fruit, less roasty aspects. Oily to viscous texture, smooth and soft, silky palate, fine, soft to flat carbonation. Balanced, harmonious, well embedded alcohol, not overly complex - pleasing.

Genialne RIS od Trzech Kumpli. Spora i trwala ciemno bezowa piana, mocna i rasowa konsystencja, podbite czekolada, kakao, piernikami, nieco marmolady porzeczkowo-sliwkowej. Barwa gesta, oleista i absolutnie czarna, rozgrzewajacy, palono-czekoladowy finisz. alko ukryte. Piwo dla idiotow czy raczej nie? oto jest pytanie dla ratebeermaniakow.
