Idiota (Idiot) is our first Russian Imperial Stout and is exactly how we wanted – complex, powerful, but at the same time smooth, oily and super drinkable. The aroma and taste of this beer matches the complexity of Russian history: coffee, chocolate, toffee, licorice, nuts, molasses, forest fleece, dark dried fruits, and hop hog spice.
We recommend drinking it with small sips while being careful.

Thanks to rotaman14 for this bottle. Deep, opaque black color and a brown head. Nose of dark chocolate and coffee, caramel, sweet. Taste is sweet and boozy, anis, bitter-sweet, licorice and dried fruits. Thick mouthfeeling. Nice.

Brązowa piana szybko opadająca. W aromacie kawa, czekolada, żywica, orzechy, lukrecja, przypalony karmel, śliwka suszona, ziemiczność. W smaku mocno zaznaczona chmielowość chmielem amerykańskim pod postacią żywicy. Poza tym kawa, słodka czekolada, karmel, orzechy, suszona śliwka. Goryczka średniowysoka, palona i żywiczna, nieco drapiąca. Ogólnie paloność dość intensywna. Wysokie ciało, wysycenie niskie do średniego, odrobinkę za wysokie. Co prawda nie lubię nowofalowych RISów, tak ten mi całkiem smakował.

Bottled 330ml. -from Regionalne Alkohole Krakow. Pitch black coloured, medium sized pale beige head, light roasty, dark chocolate and wood in the nose. Roasted malt, wood, dried fruits, light chocolate and raisins with warming alcohol in the finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Almost black, dark brown foam. Good aroma: dark and roasted malts, caramel, dried fruit, coffee with cream, chocolate, rye whiskey, floral hops. Taste: full and rich, cold coffee with cream, caramel and chocolate with brandy, very velvety and silky, warming and bitter finish. Very good brew.
