Bottle picked up from Cotteridge Wines, Cotteridge, Birmingham and consumed at home down the office listening to music, Saturday 20th August 2016 Gold, actually dark gold orangey in colour with a dense white to off-white head. Fruity on the nose the barrel ageing is noticeable straight away here some slight sharp, spritzy in fact almost funky notes come through here. Taste is fruity and tongue curlingly tangy, light sourness, some woodiness, a little boozy edge (tastes stronger than it is) slight sharpness, a little tropical bite. It’s good but not great. 375ml bottle from Mikkeller’s bottle shop, Copenhagen. Pours clear gold, large white head. Aroma is vibrant white wine, sugary Belgian yeast. Taste is absolutely fantastic. Great balance, defined white wine presence blending perfectly against a Belgian ale backdrop.. everything I love about a white wine BA beer.

Bottle. Cotteridge. Clear gold. Thick, pillowy, fairly dense, lasting, off white head. Nose has herbal, spicy maltiness. Fruity toffee. Tangy yeast. Spangles sweets. Taste is tangy, vinous, bittersweet. Smooth, foamy mouthfeel. Soft acidity. Tangy, bittersweet finish. Nothing too complex, but decent enough, and went nicely with some Cheddar cheese!
