Bottled, thanks jeverszeuge! Clear nut brown, creamy head. Caramelly nose. Sweet and soft with flavours of hay, toffee and salt. A malt driven, very correct bock. It does provide what is expected, neither more nor less.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of MoritzF. Clear, orangey brown with a dense, off-white head. Sweetish aroma of roasted malt with a fruity touch. Fairly full body with roasted malt notes and a rather distinct bitterness in the finish that also contain quite some alcohol. 201107

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, malt, and caramel as well as a light touch of alcohol. Inspite of the alcohol the body is thin.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and deep orange with a diminished off-white head. Roasted malt aroma, slight breadish and dry. Light fizzy carbonation. Flavour starts rather sweet and has a solid caramel to toffee flavour. Ends with a continued sweetness and a mild bitterness.

Clear caramel color. Grass hops are strong, earth, caramel malts round out the aroma. Earthy, grass hops, lightly sweet. Dry, hoppy finish. Bitterness lasts. Thin body. Is this really a bock? Pretty decent.

Bottle: Reddish-brown coloured, big, quite stable off-white head; faint sweet and dark- and roast-malty nose with a tinge of hops; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, creamy MF; delicate sweetish-malty and lingering bitter finish. Decent and well balanced Bock from a good brewery, not very complex, however.....

(bottle) Dark amber colour with a mid-sized foamy tanned head. Sweet toasted malt aroma with a shy tinge of herbal hops. Sweet roasty and malty initial taste with bread crusts, medium to full bodied, smooth carbonated, sweet malty, molassy and slightly hopped finish. A decent and drinkable seasonal Bock, not too sweet and the alcohol is well integrated.

Red-amber beer, clear; small greige head, dense. Very bready nose, a bit woody, hints of coloured malts. Sweet bread with nuts, dark candi sugar, molasses, and simmered sweet potatoes. Long sweet aftertaste on the verge of cloying. Inevitably syrupy, but not yet off-putting; gets to a serious ABV impression. Good, but seriously sweet beer. However, I cannot imagine downing more than a bottle of this.
