A huge yet crisp West Coast DIPA. Pale golden in colour from subtle use of Amber and Crystal malt which also provide a light sweetness to the beer. Masses of Chinook and Simcoe hops create a huge bitterness and resinous pine notes, synonymous with the style, with additions of Citra & Mosaic, provide more new-school citrus and stone fruit flavours over the top.

Growler from LCB. Clear amber-gold with some off white covering. Aroma of pine resin, orange, grapefruit, touch of caramel. Pine and bitter orange dominate flavour also but there is some papaya and stone fruit. Good bitter sweet balance. Mid bodied, fine carbonation. Enjoyable.

Can picked from Beerdome webshop Grootegaste Netherlands and consumed at home, Thursday 29th February 2024, we had Asian Spare Ribs with Jasmin Rice listening to Huw Stephens on 6Music, it's Round Table this evening with Simon Raymonde and someone from the NME plus someone from The Mysterines reviewing the new records. . Pours hazy warm gold with a large white head. For Pentrich this is a fairly unremarkable Double IPA, tbf I would never have had this down as a West Coast IPA. No real standout flavours, it drinks well for the abv, certainly doesn't taste like an 8% beer. The aroma and taste are leaning more towards citrussy with a little pine on looks alone I expected tropical and juicy and more Double NEIPA as completely forgot that this was meant to be a West Coast IPA. It's fine but I guess I can tell that this is from a brewery more accustomed to hazy NEIPAs.

Can. Color: Hazy orange amber, off-white head. Aroma: Hoppy, some citrus. Taste: Dry-ish, pine and grassy hopbitterness. Citrus zest, grapefruit notes. Caramel hints. Hints of stone fruit. Over medium bitterness, light to moderate sweetness. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Nice 'old skool' West Coast.

Rocky white head on an unclear amber coloured body. Pine, orange & malt aroma. Medium to full bodied, soft & no carbonation. Bitter, orange, marmalade, pithy, malt & pine tastes. Disappointed the was soft & not carbonated properly.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 14/09/23. Deep copper to amber with a decent just off white head that retains well. Nose is caramel malts, red grapefruit, pine needle, bitter orange, ripe tropical fruits. Taste comprises bitter orange, grapefruit, pine needle, grass, soft malts, caramel, papaya. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come lightly resinous hop bitterness. Tidy enough WC DIPA but had expected a little more.
