The light, golden straw colour of the iconic Pilsner style with its balance of malt sweetness, delicate hop aroma and moderate bitterness make for an irresistible drinking experience. This ‘twisted’ Pilsner augments a classic biscuit-malt and noble hop base with an uncharacteristic dry hop, upping the aroma a notch and adding a fruity citrus note. Unfiltered, unpasteurised and naturally carbonated to retain the gentle haze and smooth mouthfeel of the kellerbier style. Lemon and lime citrus lead the aroma, accompanied by tropical fruit notes. Clean and crisp with a soft lingering bitterness.

Can. A light haze on this yellow gold beer, decent bubbly pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, slightly soft, just moderate fine carbonation. Smooth as a baby's arse pale malts, modest sweetness, but not undersweet. Mild lager tang in the mid. The Saaz and Kazbek hops deliver a smooth soft pine, a juicy soft floral lemon, and a watery but not unpleasant fruit melange. Trace of like before the light semi dry finish. Nice Pils, very quaffable. Could definitely be a tad crisper mind.

Can from Westhill Service Station. It pours hazy yellow - blonde with a decent sturdy white head. The aroma is fresh, doughy white bread, rich tea biscuits, orchard fruits, grass, cereal and grain. The taste is crisp, firmly dry, snappy, good grassy bitterness, herbal, orchard fruits, straw, white bread, biscuit, custard creams, touch of peppery spice and some underlying sweetness with a drying, grassy finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy/crispy carbonation. Lovely stuff. Flavourful, snappy and quenching. Grade A.
