Papaya, pine sap, lime zest, juniper, and black pepper. Not too sweet, with a brisk, aggressive bitterness. Medium to heavy body, sticky, and a bit astringent. Harsh and aggressive, but quality.

355mL can, pours a hazy dark orange with a medium, fluffy white head. Nose is full of orange marmalade, citrus peel, resinous hops, and some tropical fruit. Flavour is much the same, with lots of bitter grapefruit peel, citrusy hops, orange marmalade, some resins, and a big chewy, caramely, bready malt base. Very bitter grapefruit peel, but thick malts to back—almost a bit too malty. Very old school westie with that bitter grapefruit and chewy malt base. Solid enough.

Can. Giant foaming head goes craggy then fades a bit. Hazy orangish pale, typical heavy hazy IPA appearance. Thick off pine nose. Barely any co2, quite oily and viscous mouth coating palate. Heavy alky impact with a slight warming sensation, boozy. What is it that my peers see about this IPAs? This one tastes like the heavy hops are used as a preservative, very unnatural for a beer. JMHO. Blah. In the middle the bitter heavy over the top hops are horrid horrific and horrifying to my lager loving taste buds. Hostile and hot-tempered, these hotheaded howling huffy hops are humiliating. Finally the finish is humorless hurtful and hypercritically hyper-irritable. Can somebody please get me an ice cold clean macro american lager for a chaser? WHEW

21 can variety pack. Aromas are a nice blend of citrus, resin and MJ with a little malt. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, bittersweet with malt coming out more. A bit chalky in the body. Been done before but still very tasty.

12 ounce can from Festival Darboy, 5/19/24. Hazy amber, medium white head, average retention. Aroma of hay and candied citrus. Taste is grapefruit, hay, pepper, citrus. Low bitterness. A little weird. Decent.
