A Stout Collab made in Heaven!

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 10/07/24. Black with a khaki spiders web swirl. Nose is dark malts, burnt toffee, chocolate, charr, roasted tones. Taste comprises dark malts, light smoke, charr, molasses, liquorice, spice, charr, cocoa powder, dried fruit rinds. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Okay impy if a little stuck in 3rd gear for the 13.8% proffered!

330ml can. Pours almost black with a small tan head. Aroma of dark malts, chocolate, roast, liquorice. Taste is rich and malty, chocolate, roast, coffee, a little bit of liquorice and dark fruits, fairly sweet but there’s some bitterness too. Medium-full bodied. Really nice.

Can. Near opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly dark tan head. Airy palate, semi dry, a decent fine minerally carbonation. Mellow dark chocolate, dark chocolate cake. Light and semi dry finish. Well, this impressively light and drinkalble for an abv that is well into modern wine territory, but, flavour wise, it just lacks anything I want to get my teeth around. A very mixed bag.

Can picked up from Craft Beer Shop and consumed sat in Frank in the centre of Drachselsried, (covert overnight parking) after a great night at Falterbräu Drachselsried, Friday 21st June 2024. Pours black with a tan head, the nose is mostly malty but there is a little spicy edge and some chocolate and coffee notes. In the flavour department it's similar, lots of roasted malt but backed up with creamy, milky chocolate, but also a little bit of cocoa powder, some creamy vanilla and coffee, maybe a bit of liquorice. Nice mouthfeel, very drinkable. Good Impy.

Intensiver Beginn von Kakao. Überraschend mild ist die Süße, auch der Alkohol drängt sich nicht in den Vordergrund. Würzig, schokoladig, weich, milde konstante Herbe. Wenig holzig, zunehmend trocken, röstig, mittellanger Abgang. 8/12/10/10/8/10
