We recently welcomed the guys from Amundsen as part of our European collaboration series. Did we want to brew up something light and crisp that would cool you down in the june 'heat'... hell no, not on this occasion! It was a go hard or go home situation, so here we have it, a 12% Russian Imperial Stout!
Brewed with the addition of cocoa, coffee and marshmallow, Mallow Mafia will rip your head off at the first chance it gets, but treat it with respect and it'll no doubt be your new best friend. Each intense addition to the beer will pop out on your palate before leading onto a warming, rich and bittersweet finish.

Amazing strong beer, great balance among the vanilla and whatever sweet perceiving adjuncts are in here. The roast is great and the look and super full complex beer is on point. Just a little light on the body, but probably because it’s so dried out for such a big beer. Craft bier bar hamburg

Tap at Craft Bier Bar. Jet black colour with average, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, tan head. Sweet-ish, slightly roasty, dark malty and flavoured aroma, lost of maple sirup, hints of pancake, caramel, marshmallow. Taste is sweet dark malty, slightly roasty, notes of maple sirup, marshmallow, caramel, pancake, hardly withstanding hop bitterness, overall controlled sweetness in the end.

Kicsi, nem túl tartós barna hab, vöröses árnyalatú fekete szín. Kávés, csokis, kakaós, aszalt gyümölcsös illat. Kávés, kakaós, csokis ízek, aszalt gyümölcsös és némi mályvacukros beütéssel. Kissé szirupos, testes, alig szénsavas, közepesen keserű. Jó egyensúllyal rendelkező, kellemes stout.

On tap at Zmajevo 2019. Black, small lasting brownish head. Chocolate cake, chocolate chip cookies, coffee, roasty, brown sugar. Chocolate liqueur. Intense sugary, sweet, perfumy, slightly fake, chocolate cookie and coffee flavour. Dry and roasty, full body, thick, sticky, strong, very smooth, alcohol hidden. Oversweet but rich.

(Draught at BrewDog Kungsholmen, Stockholm, 31 Jan 2019) Black colour with brief, foamy, beige head. Malty, roasted, vinous nose with notes of dark chocolate, coffee, liquorice, vanilla and roasted nuts. Malty, roasted taste with coffee, dark chocolate, nuts (hazelnuts), vanilla, toffee and some warming alcohol in a finish with a generous cacao/coffee bitterness. Full body, with a certain sweetness. Really rich and tasty, apparently quite powerful but fairly well balanced for its strength. Very nice.

On tap at Zmajevo 2019. Pitch black coloured, medium sized brown head, chocolate, lactose and marshmallows in the nose. Roasted malt, chocolate, lactose, marshmallows and light burnt touch. Alcohol well hidden. Enjoyable.
