Dark brown. No head on this. Meaty, raisiny aroma with lots of dark sugars, bourbon. On the palate, soft body. Lots of underlying bitterness, big malt sugars and the alcohol slices through those. Excellent, well-balanced, good quality.

375mL bottle, pours jet black with a tiny brown head. Aroma is rich and complex, with an elegant bourbon barrel character, light vanilla, some brown sugar, and oak. Flavour has got a lot of barrel, with a huge charred oak character, plenty of bourbon, some vanillin, and gentle brown sugar. Beautifully balanced, great barrel character, low residual sweetness. Fantastic.

Black with a large foamy dark brown head. Notes of red wine, toasty malt, wood, strong chocolate and whiskey. Long finish. Full body.

Can on the Central Scotland & Fife Push-Pull tour with 712 and friends, thanks to the Wingmane, 05/10/24. Black with a khaki cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is ripe fruits, chocolate, spice, bourbon nip, toffee, dark malts. Taste comprises chocolate melt, faint liquorice, bourbon splash, dark malts, toffee, fruit cake. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Solid.

Draft at Jackie O's. Pours a pitch black with a finger of brown head that dissipates quickly. Oak, bourbon, dark chocolate and molasses all present on the nose. A touch of dark fruit and date as it warms on the palate, more bourbon and chocolate. Balanced finish, good viscosity. Nice BA stout!
