Can at home shared with Barbara, 13th April 2024. Pours a deep reddish purple. Aroma is black currant, red currants, tart fruits. Taste is sweet, sour, tart, currants, very fruity. Lovely

Mørk rød uklar med lys rosa skum. Lukter solbær og noe vanilje. Lett. Fruktig og sur. Smaker solbær, rips og noe vanilje. Middels lang.

Draught Huge pink/cyclamen head over muddy, deep-ruby beer. Sourish nose, a fleeting hint of pickles, raspberry, blueberry, blackcurrant (the last increasing). Nowhere artificial. Sweet-sour... almost Asian. Cucumber, red fruit/berries, ribesleaf, vegetable frying oil. Feels pretty well-bodied, almost chewy, adequate carbonation. Fruit-filled. More fruit than beer. Certainly not bad.

Cloudy purple beer with a pinkish head. Big bittersweet aroma of blackcurrants. Flavour immediate does the same and it's fresh and tart. You really get the white wine grapes in here too, though rather than light and fizzy and smooth and rich with the fruit. Big, super fruity, nicely tart and very drinkable.

Keg @ Tap and Can. Pours a deep purple, with a pink-tinged head. Big ribena vibes from the off, vibrant blackcurrant nose. Hard to overstate just how full-on the blackcurrant fruit is, big old whack on initial sip, with a somewhat harsh follow up on the swallow. Very jammy, fruity sweet, medium to full bodied. Big stuff.

On tap at The Star & Garter, Bromley. Pours purple with a light pink head. Aromas of blackcurrant jam, blackberries, lots of dark fruits. Taste is apple & blackberry pie, red grape, more blackcurrant jam. Very jammy. More sweet than tart. Nice.
