We’re honoured being invited as a brewery to Borefts 2018, where we’ve been many times before. Its the festival that set the dream of starting our brewery. This is our second Cascadian Dark Ale, after the success of No Style without Substance, brewed earlier in 2018.

Can, bb July 2024. Black with a tan head that's soon a scant coat. Aroma of oranges, grapefruit, mocha, some firmer roast behind. Interesting texture - retains a lightness despite quite a bit of body and lowish carbonation. Moderately sweet with cream and mocha, firm roast, floaty citrus. Some resin and more, oilier citrus towards the bitter finish. After a while some of the citrus is more obviously orange peel, which breaks the spell a little. Still, a fine drop.

0.33l can. Black body with a medium sized light brown head. Aroma of tangerine, chocolate, pineapple and some nutmeg. Taste of chocolate, orange zest, grapefruit and some grape seed. Due to its fruityness it initially seems to be light, but it's actually a full bodied beer. Very nice.
