Like a lightning bolt of lupulin, this celebratory IPA is loaded with notes of citrus, mango, and pine. We're convinced there's a statesman in our history that wants us to be hoppy! To honor this founding father and America's July 4th, 1776 Independence Day, we made a 7.4% ABV beer with a beginning gravity of 17 and IBUs of 76!

Truth in advertising. This is a danky IPA. Citrusy, danky aroma. Medium bodied. Good hops bitterness. Danky, citrusy flavors. Good.

Pour is a orange with a large foamy white head. Aroma is orange marmalade. Flavor is more oranges and citrus with a malt backbone that is more dry than sweet. KInd of old school IPA vibes but without the sweeter malt bill. Decent beer.

Sample at Daily Growler Powell. Clear orange-gold pour with a medium white head that diminishes gradually to an outer ring. Sticky strings of lace. Resiny hops, citrus and malt in the nose. Medium body with a dank hoppy character with notes of citrus, pine and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a piney hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

12 ounce can. Bright amber gold pour. Large frothy white head. Nice clinging lace. Fragrant citrus hop aroma. Toasted malt backbone. Bittersweet hoppiness hints at honey, mango, lemon and orange. Some resiny pine in finish.

Fuck off, I rated a brew and this stupid ass app erased it. All I got to say is this beer is fricken rude.
A little too malty for me, but still a good beer.

Sampled on draft at Tapped this beer poured a copper color with a large foamy yellow-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was dryish, citric and earthy. The flavor was semi sweet and tangy with earthy and piney hops. Mildly astringent. Long hoppy finish. Moderately full bodied. Solid.

From tap. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is dense grapefruity to peachy. Bitter, slight sweet fruity impression. Lingering grapefruity and citrusy finish.
