Bottle at 28.4.2026 tasting, courtesy of Marko. Brown color with medium tn head. Aroma of malt, dried plums, nuts, alcohol. Taste is sweet malty with sugar, dried fruits, caramel,m alcohol, tons of alcohol.

We visited Pivnica Medvedgrad Samoborska, Friday 29th August 2025 after a 6-7 hour drive from home, we walked here from Zmajska Pivovara. However I had this back at Frank in the carpark of Zmajska Pivovara. Btw I had Pivnicke Kobasice sa Zapecenim Grahom for tea and stupidly ordered a side order of chips it was huge (Sausages with Homemade Baked Beans). Anyway onto the beer, Pours brownish coloured with a small/medium sized beige head, nose suggests this is going to be super sweet, molasses, malt, dried fruits. Taste is very malty, have to confess I was confused by this and the other bottles I picked up tonight and thought this was the barley wine. Alcohol a little too prevalent, sweetness a bit too much, usual Belgian characteristics are hidden somewhat. *Parking update, I guy came and knocked on the door, we shouldn't have been parking here as it's private property (he was security) he was super nice let us off.

Bottle, 330 ml shared with Hrvoje and MiroB. Metallic, roasty, dark malts, chocolate. Smooth. On the sweeter side.

33cl bottle at Fakin Craft Bar, Zagreb, Croatia. Pours dark brown, with a nice head of light brown foam, fine. Aroma is of caramel and molasses, some chocolate. Not intense, though. Body is rather thick, sticky, with moderate carbonation. Taste is clearly sweet, persisting partially into the final.

Bottle, 0.33l. Deep amber/copper pour, thin off-white head, medium retention, sticky lacing on the glass. Sweet and malty nose, molasses, caramel, figs, dried fruits. Nice. Full body, medium carbonation, lively. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, oily, chewy, creamy. Sweet taste balanced with subtle boozy bitter notes in the background. Aroma of caramel malt, molasses, brown sugar. Dried forest fruits, figs, raisins. Liquor, wood notes, bready. Warming alcohol in the background. Sticky. Long lasting finish, dry, liquory, sweet. Quite tasty.

Bottled courtesy of and shared with Hrabren. Murky brown body, tan head. Alcohol in the otherwise nutty aroma, dried plums, caramel malt. Sugary, sweet taste, brown sugar, alcohol, dried caramel, meeeeh, stale, alcoholic. Sorry, a mess, the yeast and its effects are just overwhelmed by the enormous maltiness.

0.33 l bottle shared with Marko, dark brown, small off-white head. Aroma is malty, molasses, caramel, dried fruit, dates, sour cherry. Light spice, soft rum notes, rum chocolate bar. Low yeasty spicy note. Strong, alcoholic flavour, intensely sweet, molasses, brown sugar, oversweet. Smooth, heavy. Fruity, dried figs and dates. Medium to full body, soft texture, light finish.

Bottled 330ml. -at Goblet Zagreb. Brownish coloured, medium sized beige head, dried fruits and alcohol in the nose. Toasted malt, burnt touch, notes of dried fruits, raisins and some spices with noticable alcohol. Sweet finish and overall too sweet.
