Breakfast Stout - made with oats, lactose and an experimental hop from Slovenia.
Tamni mliječni Breakfast stout. Pjena poput kreme od kave upotpunjuje se s aromama bourbona, koje proizlaze iz čokoladnog i tamnog prženog slada. Punog okusa s malom ili srednjom gorčinom i niskom karbonizacijom, pri čemu do izražaja dolaze okusi kave, čokolade, tamne karamele i bourbona.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A glossy black pour with a fast fading cream head; sweet chocolate syrup aroma; rather thin with an unusual herbal taste - earthy with traces of mint and licorice; then a sweet syrupy finish.

Can, 11C. Dark brow w a light tan head that's soon less than a coat. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, cream, spices. 7+ Just about medium bodied with carbonation just below medium. Moderately sweet with quite firm spicy and citric bitter notes coming through fairly early - too early for me really and I dunno about the citrus. Pretty good.

Bottled, from Mali Dućan Matejuška / Little Beer Shop 1, Split. Dark brown, small, coarse head. Aroma of cardboard and treacle. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, syrupy mouthfeel. Cranberries and treacle, syrup and toffee. Some aluminium in the finish. Tastes off and oxidized with 6 months to go on it's date stamp.

A decent but unremarkable sweet stout. Sweet and a bit fruity, malty, a bit of liquorice. Its fine.

Can 33cl @ Niamey Craft beer tasting and bbq, merci Madalin. Brune foncée, col fin café au lait. Arôme au bouquet malté caramel, finement axé sur le lactose en rétro-nasal, pointe de café perce sur la fin avec un léger effet fruité noir. Palais est léger gonflé par une bonne note de malt, épaisseur moyenne de bouche avec un côté lactose qui se ressent - le tout sur un effet mélanoïde. Effervescence est moyenne voire basse, retrouve encore un effet fruité noir tirant sur la myrtille. Je note peu l'impact du houblon.

Auch ein Stout steht auf der Agenda des Biers und wurde auf einem slowakischen Bierfest ausgeschenkt. Es hat einen angenehmen, malzigen Körper und frischen Abgang. Es mag nicht die Tiefe mancher englischer Stouts haben, aber es ist auf jeden Fall ein brauchbares Bier.

Pours hazy dark brown, blackish, with a lasting, thin, beige head; little lacing. Aroma of raisin, milk chocolate, praliné, hazelnut, mocha, blackcurrant, toast. Medium malty sweet onset, quite creamy, notes of praliné & chocolate, accent of sourish raisin in the back; light roasted bitter after that, notes of toast & coffee bean; faint vanilla too. Dryish, malty finish, more toast & chocolate, faintly herbal hoppy. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Pleasant Sweet Stout, nice introduction to this brewery.

Can. Malty aroma, roasty notes, chocolate, lactose. Tastes the same as aroma, light sour notes, light sweet, light to medium bitter. Medium body, slick texture, lively carbonation and malty bitter sweet finish witch roasty and chocolate notes. Good.
