Dark, dark brown with a foamy to fizzy, beige head. Big caramel aroma with mild, coconut undertones. Taste is mildly sweet with the tropical coconut tone taking over the finish. Lacks much in the way of roasted bitterness and comes off rather one-dimensional. The body is all wrong too, not enough chewiness and far too fizzy. To its credit, the alcohol stays well hidden. Underwhelming for an impy.

Smell of roasted malt, coconut. Bronze colour, beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, coconut, vanilla, a myriad of other flavours. Medium sweet, medium bitter. Lively carbon.

Tiefschwarze Farbe; gemischtporige, dichte und mäßig stabile Schaumkrone. In der Nase malzig, auch Röstmalzaromen, Bitterschokolade, etwas Kokosnuss. Im Geschmack sehr viel präsente Kokosnuss, dazu dunkelmalzig, Malzbonbon, Kaffee, etwas Süße, dezente Säure, voller Körper - jedoch keinesfalls sättigend, sogar mit einer schönen Frische. Gefährlich süffig für fast 10 % vol.

Bottle drunk while watching Slow Horses. Darkest brown with a tan head. Nose is sweet and nutty, bourbon vanilla, brown sugar, coconut. Flavor is full pastry but in a tasty way, like a coconut marzipan would be. Nice complexity, spice notes remind me of cinnamon, great smooth dessert bomb beer!

Bottle ordered from Craftbeer-shop.com. Very dark brown, almost black, thin layer of foam. Aroma: malt, berries, caramel. Taste: Heavy sweetness, caramel, nutty, intense coconut in the aftertaste. Creamy.

0,33 l bottle. A darkest red brown, nearly black, in the glass, small short living pale beige head. Boozy aroma, a mix between red wine and bourbon, cherry and some coconut. Taste starts also fruity boozy, dark choco malty, slick bourbon barrel, sweet and a little bit sticky. Fortunately coconut only in the background. Really nice one.
