On tap @ BPBW, Saturday session. Wouldn't be bad, but it's a bit too sweet and I did not get that much chestnut in there, but then again, many heavy beers were drunk that day, so it might have been just lost on me.

On tap at Neked Csak Dezso Budapest. Amberish coloured, small white to off-white head, caramel and cereals in the nose. Sweet malty, caramel, toffee, noticable alcohol and cereals with nutty notes in the finish. Tastes like cereal energy bar with alcohol.

Tap @ Borefts. Amber color. Peach and raisin in the aroma. Malty sweet. Dried fruit,marzipan, hint of almonds. Slightly alcoholic.

330ml bottle from Share House in Moscow. Pours clear light brown with a small white head. Aroma is nuts, caramel, raisins. Taste is heavy sweet, dried fruits, alcohol, malt.

Draught @ 10th. BBF 2018 [ 10th Borefts Beer Festival 2018 ] @ Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. [ As MONYO / Konix Brewery Nutty Moose ].Clear medium amber colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, dried fruit, figs, raisin, light caramel, light nutty - chestnuts. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet with a long duration, figs, raisin, dried fruit, sweet malt, caramel, light nutty - chestnut. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20180921] 7-3-6-3-12

At a tasting ,thanks, very small bubbly head, quite clear light brown color, aroma of chestnut and some honey, aroma of honey and pale raisins with some cakey maltiness behind. Nice, but much too sweet.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Lior D's place. Thanks Na'ama. Hazy deep golden-orange. Butter, caramel, toffee, sweet, some nuts, alcohol, diacetyl mouthfeel.

Semmi hab, barna szín. Édes, gabonás, karamelles illat, némi hordós vonással. Édes szirupos, karamelles, gesztenyés, vaníliás ízvilág, tölgyfahordós aromákkal. Testes, enyhén szénsavas, közepesen keserű. Kellemes desszertsör, kicsit talán túl édes.

Borefts X. I'm ten for ten! Day 2. Keg. Hazy amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, quite light, decent fine carbonation. Surprisingly light malts for a barleywine, good caramel and thin malt cream. Marmalade and dried fruits, an almost bourbon barrel richness. Light finish. Nice light barleywine.
