As Cairnpapple IPA. Bright clear gold beer, small off white head. Palate is light and minerally crisp. Light pale malt, clean. Hops are light orange and orange marmalade. Citrus turning slightly sweeter before the light crisp finish. Light bitter linger,

500ml Bottle - Amber in colour. Pinrapple, toffee and apricot in the aroma. Grapefruit, walnuts and peach feature in the refreshing taste.

500ml bottle. Clear golden amber colour, foamy white head leaving some lacing and aroma of zesty citrus hop. Biscuity malt taste with lemon & grapefruit citrusy bitterness. Light bodied, medium carbonation, dry lingering bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Cask @ Common, Manchester. Straw coloured with a small creamy head. It is lightly hopped with a light pale ale texture.

Cask at London Drinker festival 2014, Kings Cross, London. A golden coloured pour with a thin white head on top. Hoppy, citrus aroma. Tastes hoppy, citrus, bitter.

Golden, tastes very hoppy, citrus, wood but a fair bit of biscuity malt as well.

Cask at The Stockbridge Tap. Hazy golden body with a thick off-white head. Excellent lacing. Soft fruity aroma - peach, apricot and mango. Flavour is bitter and fruity - underripe mango and pineapple. The bitterness isn’t overly astringent, though, it’s nice and soft. Medium body with an oily texture. Light carbonation prickle. A hoppy, bitter Pale Ale.

Aroma: Musty hops and a little creamy..

Appearance: Clear golden body with a small, creamy white head. No visible carbonation. Outstanding lacing.

Taste: Very tart. Sharp lemon and lime flavours. Tangy and hoppy with a dry, bitter finish.

Palate: Smooth, creamy mouthfeel. Medium body. Flat carbonation.

Overall: Lovely ale, though not the most easy drinking because of the tart (nearly sour) citrus flavours. Lots of character.

500ml bottle from Nina’s Mini Market. Clear golden body, stable white head, spotty lacing down the glass. Mild, fresh fruity hops on the nose. Fresh fruity taste of lemon and grassy hops joined by mid-sweet pale malts. Short-lived dry bitter ending. Watered in the mouth. Accepted (hotel room Edinburgh 10.08.2013).

Cask at Thomson’s. Pours clear gold with good white head & lacing. Lemony citrus aroma with a hint of pale maltiness. Taste has good bitterness and a refreshing finish. Soft carbonation, medium bodied. Nice pint.
