They say you should never catch a falling knife. But we say take courage and risk it for the biscuit, the biscuit being a bready and malty barley wine brewed with our good friends from Minneapolis, US.

(Draft at Akkurat, Stockholm, 19 Aug 2025) Dark brown colour, hints of ruby red, with frothy beige head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of caramel, citrus, red fruit, chocolate and pink grapefruit. Malty, hoppy, vinous taste with caramel, citrus, grapefruit, pine needles, toffee and a balanced citric/piney bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Strong, hoppy and quite tasty. Nice one.

330ml can sold to me by djoeye. Next-to-clear amber-dark reddish body, declining pale brownish head, fair lacing. Quit promising smell of dried fruits and mid-sweet malts. Comprehensive taste character with impacts of biscuit, rye bread, and stewed fruits. Prolonged ending, mid-dry. Mouthfilling. Pleasing to a certain degree. (Tromsø, 03.10.2024).
