Tap at Billies. Clear light mahogany. Caramel, light oxidized malts, red apple, toffee, alcohol, dried fruits. Quite sweet, medium bitter. Boozy over medium bodied. Not my thing.

Op tap bij Borefts '24. Amber kleur, dunne kraag. Zoet, alcoholisch, moutig, fruitig, geconfijte vruchtjes, bessen en rozijnen, blaadjes, wat hout. Medium body. Ook weer niet geheel overtuigend.

Cremiger, karamellig malziger Beginn. Weich, etwas holzig, mild herb, würzig. Alkoholische Tendenzen im Hintergrund. 10/11/9/8//9

Taste: sweet, malty, lots of banana, sugary, unpleasant bitterness, alcohol, oxidized, a bit metallic. Aftertaste: alcohol, very boozy, more alcohol, too heavy, sugary, raisins, meh.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 04/09/24. Mahogany brown topped with an off white cap that soon escapes to the edge. Nose is fruit cake mix, caramel, stewed fruits, dark malts, spice, dates. Taste comprises fruit cake, dates, prunes, burnt toffee, spice, molasses, toasted brown sugars. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with a balanced buzz of boost. Solid sipper although the barrel doesn't really do it for me and perhaps comes over a little hot and undefined.

Made with volcanic water apparently. Not sure what that brings to this, but it's great. Raisins & red wine, with gentle oak and whiskey in the finish.
