Cask ale, half-pint, shared with Finn at Bridge Hotel. Decent beige head over a deep copper coloured body, upper part lacing on the glass. Brown malty aromas, caramel and bread, inviting. Caramel-chocolate moments to the taste buds, some hints of prunes. Roasted, semi-sweet malt-driven finish. Like it. (Newcastle upon Tyne, 18.03.2024).

Cask @ Bridge Hotel, Newcastle. Clear mahogany coloured with a creamy head. Mildly sweet darker ale, but its maltiness is equally measurable, nor is it intense.
