Draught @ 10th. BBF 2018 [ 10th Borefts Beer Festival 2018 ] @ Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. [ As Mad Scientist / MONYO Two Headed Giant ].Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, sweet malt, dark malt, dark fruit - dark berry, blackberry, resin, wood, oak, light soy sauce. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, roasted, wood, resin, oak, glue, dark fruit - dark berry - blackberry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Borefts X. Day 2. Keg. Opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Sort dark malts, a little dark chocolate. Woody barrel. Dark fruits and fruity spirit. Light dry spicy finish. Nice.

Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival, Day 1. Dark brown to black color, average sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, dark malts, a hint of liquorice, malt bitter. Get something else but can't put my finger on it. Decent to medium body and carbonation.

Taste is sweet leaves, dry, mocha, cookie dough, chocolate chip, dash bourbon vanilla, oak, alcoholic, candy, leaves, dry powdery chocolate,… Interesting dry powdery chocolate.
