Dark malts, chocolate aroma, then an alc punch that is a bit phenolic, faint plum like boozy note.
flavor is dark dried fruity, boozy, alc. sting, plums, dark chocolate, port wine vineousness, in fact, it could resemble a dark port with dark chocolate mixed in.. could also resemble a quad with some hard booze added. I liked batch 11 better, and is a tiny bit disppointed with this one. The chocolate flavor is great though, and the dried dark fruits does give it character. not very balanced with all that booze.
perhaps it needs some air after being opened.

--Bottled. -- Clear dark brown, small head. Caramelly nose with lots of woody, boozy bourbon. Very sweet with full to massive body and rounded, sticky mouthfeel. Caramel, brwon sugar, higher alcohols, wood and bourbon. Intense boozy finish. Pretty good despite teh massive sweetness, but still not one of the better moments of ABC.

375ml bottle pours out dark amber topped with a small ring of a head. Nose is heat rich malts tons of barrel witch should not be a surprise. Taste is more of the nice sweet malt combo plenty barrel complexity. Happy to try this one.
