To celebrate Norwegian Constitution Day and our neighborhood's Scandinavian heritage, we brewed a lager-like beer that shines as bright as the sun. Starting with Pilsner malt and a bit of Carapils, we used Tettnanger and Saphir hops for a mild, pleasant level of spice, and a farmhouse Kveik yeast from Norway fermented cold to add a touch of fruity character.

nice kviek funky yeasty nose. Crackery malt, big yeasty some citrus notes. Medium bitterness . Very nice

Draft pour at Reubens. Rating from backlog. Clean and shiny golden appearance. Lively bard, high fizz head. Moderately fragrant straw grain nose, with a matching flavor. Grassy hops jump in, and start to bitter this up nicely. Grains dominate in this flavorful lager. Not as unique tasting as I expected from the extensive description, but a tasty and refreshing lager regardless.
