Aroma has resiny tones, fruity hops and some biscuits. Totally flat palate, no CO2. Flavour has vegetables, resin, biscuits and some tropical fruits. Finishes with harsh herbal bitterness. Aroma was promising but flavour is a bit off. Drinkable anyway.

Bottle from trade with rosnbergh, many thanks. Dark amber color with medium off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt, light citrus hops. Caramel malt, citrus hops with grapefruit, oranges, zest, pines. Medium long fruity hoppy bitter finish.

Bottle shared by Cuso. Hazy reddish amber colour. Smells slightly sourish but nothing like that appears in taste. Pretty simple straightforward beer, estery, berries, red fruits. Moderate bitterness balanced by residual sweetness, no special malt character though.

Draught @ [ SOPP 2015 ] @ Railway Square / Rautatientori, Helsinki, Finland . [ As Pyynikin Sessio Red Ale ].Light unclear medium brown amber color with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, toasted, light roasted, moderate yeasty, yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, yeast, sweet malt, caramel, roasted - nutty notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150722]

Draught@SOPP2015 Helsinki. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, fruity, some toffee, mild herbs and mild earthy notes. Flavour is fruity, floral, some wooden notes as well as mild herbal and grassy notes.

Keg at Black Door, Helsinki. Hazy mahogany, small head. Peaty smoky nose. Mid dry with light body and clean mouthfeel. Peaty with mild notes of grass. Fairly low bitterness.

(Keg at SOPP Helsinki 2015) The beer poured brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had caramel and malts.. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, sweetness, caramel and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and malty. A too sweet brew.

Tap@ SOPP 2015. Mahogany color, thin off white head. Bready malty, slightly sweet aroma. Flavor has bready notes, mild sweetness. Caramel, bready. Good.
