Bottle at Merton BF bottle share 2017. Thanks Fin and FatPhil. Clear pale brown . Almost oxidised on the aroma some toffee. Toffee and peach. A little burn on finish. Peachy alcohol. Quite hoppy on the finish. As Glen said more an English strong. Oxidised. Burn. Interesting.

Smell of overripe fruit, hops, some rum. Hazy dark amber colour, beige head. Aroma of raisins, overripe fruit, some oak, alcohol. Could be better if considerably milder. Sweet. Lively carbon, oily texture. Half heavy body.

A copper beer, a head is almost medium and blond. Aroma has dried and riped fruitness, some bananas and overriped fruits, strenght of alcohol, some nuts. Taste has dried fruitness, herbal bitterness, bananas. Medium+ bodied, low carbonation. Good, brittish style beer.

On tap at Kochi Käsitöö- ja Õllefest, Tallinn. Clear copper coloured with å modest, off-white head. Sweet, candy-like and caramelly aroma that reminds me slightly of ’kamferdrops’ and candy sugar. Sweet, slightly vinous with sugary flavours dominating, some herbal notes and warming alcohol. To sweet for my taste, but still fairly drinkable. --- Beer merged from original tick of Nipperkin on 17 Jul 2016 at 14:05 - Score: 6. Original review text: Kamferdrops-øl!?

Bottled (thanks TBone!). Deep amber colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is berries, toffee, some spices and mild marzipan to it. Flavour is alcohol, toffee, some strange rubbery dry notes as well some sweetness. Dry, but quite ok.

Pours brown, almost transparent, limited foam. Sticky and boozy aroma, some caramel and fermented fruit. Taste has some flat caramel, bit of hops displaying slight bitterness and then booze is kicking some at the end. Overall, not overly great but still decent brew.

Bottle, BB 12.08.16 (from Sadama turg). Pours dark brown with beige head. The head stays for a second. Aroma is very sweet, caramel candy, malt, fruits, booze. Flavor is sweet and bitter, caramel, burnt sugar, malt, some dry bitterness and booze (gets worse as it warmed up). Finish is dry bitter with some sweetness and booze. Overall: I like the style (sweet and boozy with some hops, feels somewhat dopplebockish), so I have no problem sipping this.
