750ml @ Matt's (thx for the beer, man!) house. Appearance: almost clear straw with some white head. Aroma: funky, flowery, some juiciness, a bit of oak. This is more refined and elegant than regular Petria. Taste: along the same lines, very refined, closer to lambic, smooth. Finishes with hoppy bitterness. Has nothing to do with almost any other beers from the brewery I've had (of course, in a good way). Overall: very nice. If someone would tell me it is a lambic or something hopped and barrel-aged from HF I would believe it.

Poured from 750mL bottle (bottled 06/2023). Tried after regular Petria (4/20). Hazed blond gold with small white head. Still has some of the manure notes, but more subdued. Very dry oak, funk, overall very similar, but more mellow. Prefer the regular Petria (more depth).

750mL bottle, pours a clear light pale golden with a quickly-dissipating, medium white head. Aroma is complex, with lots of barnyard funk, lots of oak, some white grape skins, and a little bitterness. Flavour is funky and oaky as hell, with tons of barnyard funk, lots of oak, some bitter astringency, and some dry white grape skins. Funky, oaky, bitter finish. Excellent.

Bright, gold, no head though. Aroma is more rounded versus the regular edition, mellow, giving off the riesling that dips into drupaceous accents. Mild woody notes. Lower carbo than the regular, though that allows a more minerally character to emerge from the base. The riesling is definitely softer on this one, but it's got a bigger woody character, particularly more dryness.

Rated at Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2024 (MBCC). Vinous, tart and acidic sour with some funky farmyardy notes and earthiness
