500ml bottle. Jet black colour with late awakening, very small, creamy, fading, tan head. Intense, BA supported, roasty and chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, toffee, chocolate cookies, some vanilla, cinnamon. Taste is sweet-ish, chocolately, dark malty, notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, chocolate cookies, hints of vanilla, cinnamon, some treacle, mildly alcoholic BA support. Viscous texture, smooth, soft and silky, minimally cloying palate, fine, dense, creamy carbonation. Very viscous, condensed, quite sweet but still balanced, harmonious - very tasty.

Flat, deep dark pour. Aroma is slightly sweet roasted, dark malts, peanut butter, toasted coconut, chocolate, cinnamon, raisins, vanilla, dark sugar, toast, caramel. Taste is slightly sweet sour-ish roasted, dark sugar, chocolate, toasted coconut, cinnamon, raisins, caramel, dark malts, vanilla, almond pudding, toast lactose. Medium bitterness, sweet sour-ish roasted mouthfeel. Nice, but way too sweet.

Pours black, no head. Scent is full, coockie, chocolate, vanilla. Taste is sweet, vanilla, 'old coockie'. Thick body, low carbo. lovely, but far from my favorite.

On tap at 3 Sons, pours jet black with a tiny head. Aroma is very rich, with big marshmallow, smooth rum barrels, and a touch of cocoa nibs. Flavour is very rich but absolutely sublime, with a remarkable rum barrel expression that combines beautifully wtth the cocoa nibs, graham crackers, and subtle, soft marshmallow. Insanely smooth palate, with no even remotely harsh edges. Phenomenal.

Bottle shared at CBJ - cheers to WW. Pours back-brown with a small, foamy off-white head. Medium to big sweet flavour, rich dark mats, some earth, dried berries. Medium to full bodied, thick and chewy, soft carbonation. A little chalky to finish, rich dark malts, toffee. Interesting.
