25cl draft sample @ BH, Tallinn.

Tap. Pours amber with whiteish head. The head stays for some moments. Aroma is sweet, grainy, cardboard. Flavor follows the nose. Body is very watery. Overall: not good.

On tap at Beer House, Tallinn. Deep golden, almost completely clear with a modest white head. Grainy and malty aroma with lots of honey. Sweet, grainy and honey flavoured with a rather modest bitterness. Perfectly decent, but rather boring.

Draught @ the brewpub
Aroma is sugary sweet with honey and some hay. Flavour is also rather sweet and somewhat malty with sugary notes and honey. Palate is too low on CO2 and feels a bit flat. Impossible to finish the glass.

Draught at the brewpub. Almost clear amber, minimal head. Aroma of honey pastilles. Sweet and well rounded with creamy malt wrapped in honey. Low bitterness. A soothing unusally well made honey lager.

Bottled@The 1st Vaasa CS/ES beer session (thanks VD). Yellowish golden colour with small white head. Aroma is bready malts, hay and honey along with some slight earthy and herbal notes as well. Flavour is bready malts, honey and mild hayish notes. Works well for a honey beer.

Sampler at Beer House, Tallinn, 22.Oct.09. I guess this was when the band started to play, and the oompah played at Beer House begun to get REALLY hard to endure. The urge to rate was stronger than the urge to run. This might have influenced my rating, but even though the Medovar honey with its amber light colour seemed inviting, with creamy head and white lacing, it was too sweet and a bit unpleasant. Honey aroma with notes of hops, some sweet malt and wet grass. The honey-flavour is to overwhelming, and the texture makes it feel slimy.
