Can @ home. Served at room temperature above 20 degrees. Clear, dark brown body, almost black under a short living beige head. Nice aroma of roasted malt, caramel, hint of pine and a warm alcoholic touch. Taste is sweet, but not out of balance, rich malt, caramel, dry fruit, some chocolate, slightly spicy, pine, nice warming alcohol and balanced bitterness. Full body with a long, pleasant aftertaste. Very smooth and nice, surprisingly easy drinkable and doesn’t feel boozy at all, even served at a rather too high temperature. Impressive.

Dark brown colour, almost black, large rocky head does not stay long. Aroma is dried figs, raisins, cane sugar, much warming alcohol. Light sweetness. Full body, slightly cloying, soft carbonation. Not very complex, but good.

Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours reddish dark, with fine cream foam. Aroma is of caramel, molasses, some licorice. Body is thick and also a little oily, sticky, with average carbonation. Taste is rather sweet, with a long final.

Can at home shared with Laura. Unclear brownish color, small to average sized beige head. Aroma and flavor are malts, fairly bitter, bitter raisins, distant earthy notes. Weird quad tbh. More like a bitter barley wine. Mwah.

Canned, huge thanks HP! Shared at ČP's Christmas beer event. Murky brown body, off-whtie head. Chocolate, oak, prunes and light dried orange in the aroma. Sourish taste, chocolate, oaky notes, orange peel, light sweetness, vague ly dry and try. A bit too dry and bitter, slightly alcoholic, otherwise tasty stuff!

0.44 l can from 'Mr. Hop', best before October 2026. Clear, very dark ruby with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, quite fruity, gently yeasty-spicy aroma of molasses, caramel, raisins, prunes, clove and some marzipan. Heavily sweet, sugary-malty, moderately bitter, quite fruity and slightly yeasty-spicy taste of molasses, raisins, prunes, caramel, marzipan, pine, some clove and light coconut, followed by a medium long, gently bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Tasty but also very sweet ale, not overly refined but quite intense, fits well into the season though.
