Draught@HBF2017. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is floral, fruity, some ashy and earthy notes along with mild roasted notes. Flavour is fruity, floral, some ashy, wooden and quite strong roasted notes.

Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Dark brown, rich but brief head. Chalky nose with chicory and toast. Dry with light body and clean mouthfeel. Fudge, chicory and chalk. Mid bitter finish,

Draught @ HBF 2017 [ Helsinki Beer Festival 2017 ], Kaapelitehdas, Talberginkatu 1, Helsinki, Finland. [ As Takatalo & Tompuri Kaski Kauraporter ].Unclear medium to dark red brown colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, roasted, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, dark malt, roasted - chocolate, grain, bread. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20170408] 5-3-5-3-11

330ml bottle, gyle 38, bought at Pien Helsinki. A covering fawn-coloured head, spotty lacing, near-black body with a ruby tint. Modest mid-sweet chocolate malty nose. Dark doughy flavours with a chocolate bite. Mid-sweet malty end. Easy going. (Hotel room, Helsinki 28.11.2017).

Draft at SOPP Helsinki 2017 courtesy of the brewer, thanks! Dark brown color tan head. Light roast aroma with dark fruit. Taste is light fruity coffee. Nice.

330ml bottle from Pien. BBE 18.07.17. Pours brown with a smooth head. Aroma of earthiness, hints of roasty malts, berries, grainy notes and leather. Taste is grainy, earthy and slightly smoky with hints of berries, syrup and malts. Finish is harsh, grainy and earthy with some malts, berries and hints of roastiness. A bit messy.

Tap @ hbf 2017 Poured near black with a thick off white head. Oatmeal, malts, mild smoke, sweetness, some roast. Light bodied.

Smell of berries. Brown colour, small beige head. Aroma of oat, roasted malt, lactose, grain. Mildly sweet. Not too much of a porter.
