0.5 l can. Pours hazy orange with thin white head. Its aroma is surprisingly good for a macro weizen, pleasant yeasty, banana and malty notes. In taste however it is not that good, quite watery and thin and has a strange alcoholic overtone. It has a short sweet finisg, light body and quite soft carbonation. Altogether not that bad.

Can 50 cl. Comes as "Perlenbacher Hvedeøl" at 5,0%. Pours a cloudy, opaque, orangey golden with a small and creamy, off-white head. Neat aroma of banana, cloves and yeast. Medium body, sweet banana accents and a soft, finishing bitterness. Well made straight Hefe. 120325

Bottle. Cloudy, gold with a three finger head. Aroma light bananas and cloves. Taste is also bananas and cloves. Just an average tasting Hefeweizen beer.

Can at home. Aroma is wheat, bready malt, yeasty, some banana, some spicy notes. Flavour is light sweet with a hint of wheaty sour. Body is light. Soft and smooth Hefe, unremarkable but a bit better than I expected.

Copper color with medium white head. Aroma: rather dull with bubblegum, light banana juice and clove. Taste: dull again, touch of banana, clove and bubblegum. Rather low carbonation, not really an example of hefe weissbier. Light bodied, low to moderate carbonation, low bitterness. Not very good.

As Cloudy Weissbier. Hazy pale orange colour with tight fluffy head. Obvious subtle sweetness in line with the style. Not too much though. Fine carbonation, slightly creamy mouthfeel. Better than expected.

[50cl can from my local Lidl as “Wheat Beer”] A cloudy amber pour with a loose white head; banana aroma; very sweet with a grainy body, some banana and a little spice; then a sweet finish. Not the best Wiesen I’ve tried.
