From bottle. Grassy hops, grain, hay, citrus. Dry bitterness. Light to medium bodied, oily watery texture, soft to lively carbonated, dry hoppy griny bitter finish. It’s a straightforward North German Pilsner, very clean, good! Can imagine this goes well with Fischbrötchen or Bismarckhering!

Prost! Bio Pils. From a local supermarket. Looks very simple. Beer in the glass with a nice head. Starts mild, malty, fine hoppy background. Nice bitterness. Hints of lemon. Light metallical touch. Finish well balanced. Okay.

0.5 l bottle from 'Getränke Hoffmann', best before May 2024. Clear, golden with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, gently grassy-spicy and a bit fruity-floral aroma of grains, some straw and light lemon peel. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, quite grassy-spicy and slightly fruity-floral taste of grains, straw, some lemon peel and a touch of honey, followed by a short, gently bitter, a bit dry finish. Medium body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very decent Pils, nicely crisp and crushable.

Stralsunder Bio-Pils, Flasche von Edeka, Berlin. - Helles Goldgelb, blank. - In der Nase anheimelnde Noten von Hopfenextrakt und Industriebier, stumpf grasige Hopfenherbe. - Antrunk schlank und blaß malzsüß mit einigermaßen klassischer aber milder Pilsener-Hopfung, rund zitronig und grasig. Nicht so stark rezent wie andere Massenbiere. Im Abgang sehr milde Zitronenschale und mäßige Hopfenbittere. - Etwas weicher und runder als die restlichen Stralsunder Biere aber auch kein großer Trinkgenuß, bestenfalls brauchbar. (12.12.2023.)
