0.75 l bottle from 'Bergmann Stehbierhalle', February 2023. Almost clear, amber with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, gently fruity-floral, slightly grassy aroma of honey, fresh grass, lemon peel and orange blossom. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, gently fruity-floral and slightly grassy taste of honey, orange blossom, candied apricot, lemon peel and some fresh grass, followed by a short, gently bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Tasty hoppy Bock, still well-balanced, really well-brewed. Nice, as expected.

Buegelverschlußflasche (750ml): Hazy, deep golden, small but stable white creamy foamy layer, distinctive sweet honeyish and pale-malty nose, ripe fruits - not very exotic - included, pretty mild herbal to flowery bitter backbone; quite robust bitter-sweet flavour, almost full bodied; lingering and a bit drier herbal-hoppy and pale-malty finish. Yes, another goody from our great local Starkbier-workshop…
