Bottle, 75cl. A hazy reddish brown beer with a small beige head. Some lacing. The aroma has a good dash of cherry, with a light oxidation. Oak, some vanilla and a touch of vinegar. It's full bodied and nicely carbonated, with a good dash of cherry flavors. Oak, tannins, some caramel and a light oxidation. Dark dried fruit and a touch of almond. Cherry, almond and some vinegar. Lasting finish. Nice. 241228

Bottle 750ml @ yngwie. Pours dark reddish brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, alcohol, cherry and hint of vinegar. Taste is medium sweet, light to medium sour and light bitter with a long warm, cherry and grainy finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

750 ml bottle. as Nøgne Ø Wegelage Kriek Reserve, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. (I also had a small sample on tap at Cardinal.) ABV is 11.5%, IBU 15. Very deep red colour, moderate to small pink head. Aroma of sweet and sour cherries, almonds and marzipan. Medium sour flavour with the same elements, oaky aftertaste.

From tap at Mellombels Ølstove, Bryne, with BHK and Gjermund before Vandrefestivalen 2024. Dark ruby. Some pink head. Superb taste of cherries, blueberries and rye bread. Scaringly drinkable for such a high ABV.
