Half-pint, well kept cask ale at Lady Grey's, shared with Finn. Crocheted lacing from a beige head, almost black in the glass. Inviting aromas of chocolate malts, earthy. Smooth taste of chocolate malts joined by a backdrop of coffee to the ending, lightly roasted. Medium bodied. Pleasing. (Newcastle upon Tyne, 19.03.2024).

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 3rd April 2024. Intense sepia with pale tan foam affording plenty of lacing. Rich and intense roast maltiness in aroma. Rich roastiness in-mouth with a blend of fruits and spices in glorious harmony with one another. A satisfying roasty finish. Light bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. Exquisite.

Delt med Rune. Svart. Lavt tett lysebrunt skum. LItt lacing. Melkesjokoladearoma. Smaken kaffe, sjokolade & hint av røstet malt. Kaffen dominerer.
