7/3/2024. Cask at Hamilton Hall, Liverpool Street Station. Orkney rating #10. Pours clear bright golden amber with a firm frothy white head. Aroma is hoppy, floral, stone fruits, buttery, caramel, hint of spice. Moderate sweetness, quite heavy hoppy bitterness. Moderate body, average to soft carbonation. Long bitter finish. Pretty decent.
Not always impressed with Orkney beers, but this is superb

Cask at The Grill. It pours clear rich golden with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, bready malt, sappy, oily, resin, touch of pine, twist of citrus and biscuit. The taste is dry, pleasing bitterness which lingers, green, peppery spice, pine, drying wood, sappy, resin, grapefruit, bitter lemon rind, touch of bread and biscuity malt with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Great condition. Nice bitterness. Spot on.
