500ml bottle on Christmas Eve, 2025. Poured into my Batemans pint sleeve at home while hosting a little 'Do' for family and friends. Clean and clear light amber body, white crust on top. Malty front with a decent earthy hop centre and finish. Hoped for something a little more exciting if I'm honest.

25/7/2024. Cask at the 34th Ipswich Beer & Cider Festival. Pours clear bright amber gold with a small bubbly/frothy white head. Good looking beer. Aroma is malty, citrus, yeast, straw, musty and slightly mucky. Moderate sweetness, bitterness and body. Oily, watery. Soft carbonation. Drying finish. Maybe not as the brewer intended.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol March 2024. Deep gold in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Floral hops, rich tea malts, some tangerine sweetness, leading to a moderately bitter finish. Good.

Half pint, cask ale, shared with Finn at Shakespeares Head. Wetherspoon Beer Festival, March 24. Pearl white head over a clear warm golden body, laces well. Moderate aromas of tropical fruits. Hop fruity taste of mango and citrus offset by light cereal sweetness. Drying close. Rounded mouthfeel. Pretty okay. (London, 16.03.2024).
