In addition to the fire, wild hops that are one of the ancestors to Kazbek hops, originate from the Caucasus. So now has it come with its lemon balm, mint and ripe papaya aromas to bring fire to the cold and plain world of the American hops. The Master Brewer has managed to stay on good terms with the falcons.

Can 33 cl. Pours an almost clear, grayish amber with a lacing, off-white head. Nose is caramelly with sutle, spicy and tired hops. Medium body, dry caramelly flavors and a slight tarness. Subdued bitterness. Poorly crafted. 130821

Bottle shared at Rebane, Tallinn (10082019) - hazed amber pour with a white head. Sweet fruity and malty with some orange and grapefruit notes, medium body, resinous bitter finish.

(Draught at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 16 Feb 2019) Amber colour, slightly hazy, with lasting off-whitehead. Malty, hoppy nose with grain, toast, hay and orange peel. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of orange peel, pine needles, grainy malt, toast and a slightly metallic bitterness in a dry finish. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and refreshing. Quite nice.

Draft at In De Wildeman. Fairly hazy dull orange brown with an off white head. Aroma of caramel malt, fruity hops, orange and green weedy hops. Flavour is moderate sweet and above moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle from RIMI. Pours somewhat cloudy copper, white foam is abundant but reduces into a thin skirmish in a few minutes, leaves some lacings. Nose is fruity, some citrus, not that sweet actually, some wild strawberry yoghurt also there for some reason taste has also light fruitiness, strawberries, lemon peels and papaya. Hop character delivers enough bitterness which feels quite herbal or more like herb tea based, dried herbal. Body is relatively weak, but bitterness adds a bit more substance, finishing in a thick long lingering herbal tea, even bit smoky at the finish. Overall OK, doesn't make me wow but at the same time is not bad either.

An orange beer, a head is small and blond. Aroma has tropical fruitness, also overriped fruitness, hint of vegetables, some fructose. Taste has tropical notes and citrusfruits, mild bitterness, more pure than aroma. Quite light bodied. Slightly unpure, decent.
