Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, floral and grass. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with a long malty, grass and floral finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Sjøen 301223. Golden color with a white head. Aroma is citrus, fruit, malt, grain. Flavor is citrus, fruit, malt, grain, pine, grass. Very nice pilsner.

8-4-7-3-14 Bottle, #476, four months after bottling. Pours dark yellow, with a big creamy head. Aroma is bread crust, hay and honey, as well as zesty hops with herbal notes and citrus. Medium body, with average carbonation. Flavour is pilsner malts with light bread, hay and honey, as well as zesty, herbal hops with grass and citrusy notes. Crisp and refreshing, with a fairly short, bitter finish.

500ml bottle #491, bought at Gulating Ølutsalg in Tromsdalen. Shared at a Yuletide session with Synny, Imojoh, and Finn. White head with good retention over a next-to-clear golden body, dotted spots on the glass. Moderate smell of grass and cereal malts. Well blended malt-hoppy taste, moments of grass, bread-like malts, and ripe fruits. Rounded ending with a bitter twist. Well made version of the style. (Tromsø, 20.12.2023).
