Bottle at home. Aroma is wheaty, sour fruits, grapes, lemon, funky yeast, horse blanket, slightly sulphuric and a bit salty? Flavour is nicely puckering sour. Body is light to medium. Drinks more like a Gose than a Saison. Either way, this is an enjoyable funky wheaty sour ale.

On tap @ Cafe Sara. This is a mild blurry looking one, lots and lots of white lacework down the sides of the glass. Smells fresh and nice. Mild sour, sorrel, sour powder, pickled lemons, citrus and quite a bit of grains. Quite a decent smelling aroma, I must say. Tastes really refreshing also. Acidic and again, lots of grains. Berry sour with traces of raspberries. It's mild oily in the mouth and just above average on the carbonation. Lemon and a little bit of lime water. Tastes quite good this - refreshing! 29.05.2015

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 25B). Bottle 33 cl - batch B196. AROMA: moderate sour aroma, complemented with slight citric notes (lemon and orange-like). very faint almost grainy-neutral malt background. APPEARANCE: golden color and clear. medium-large off white head with medium retention. slight lace formation. TASTE: predominant sour flavor, masking a very faint fruity note (like the aroma - lemon, orange) and everything else. finishes dry and sour. unbalanced. PALATE: light body with medium carbonation. excessive tart character. OVERALL: a saison-like aproach with sourness instead of bitterness but resulting unbalanced. needs less sour presence.
