Bottle, 75cl. It pours a dark chestnut colored body, hazy, with a dense, finger-thick light beige head. Some curtains. The aroma is quite rich, with caramel, dark bread crust, dark dried fruit, some alcohol and toffee, a faint spiced hint and some notes of grass and pine cones. Faint notes of coffee grit. It's full-bodied, smooth and semi-dry, with a good bitterness and some warmth. The flavor has some meaty hints, along with roasted malts, caramel and bread crust. Dark dried fruit, alcohol, spiced notes and a hoppy touch in the flavor. Toffee, grass and coffee notes. Lasting malt driven finish. A really pleasant bock, or bockish, beer indeed. 230331
