Solid evening sipper Complete black pour and a small beige head ok intensity in the aroma. Not to much alcohol Decent sweetness for a beer like this. Also a fine carbonation level Dark malt, chocolate, some roast, fruity and some licorice in the flavor [Can at Skur 4 in Drammen, Norway]

From can at Erik A’s place in Kristiansund with him and Kjell 27.05.23. Ebony. Brown head. Superb aroma and taste of coffee, cinnamon, creosote, smoke and dark caramel. Solid bitterness is lingering on in aftertaste.

Poured from the tap. Black with small beige head. Gentle roast malt, spruce, hint of orange and chocolate. An interesting combination that works quite nicely.

Can. A dark brown one, close to black, with a finger-thick light tan head. An intense one indeed, with a good dash of alcohol in the aroma, not pushing though, along with licorice, roasted malts, burnt down bonfire, some dark dried fruits. Not very complex, but sure satisfying. It's full-bodied, warming and quite sweet on the palate, with a bitterness I guess comes from both hops and dark malts. Roasted malts, licorice, charcoal and some burnt down bonfire. Dark dried fruit, some brown sugar and a nutty hint. Sort of earthy, mushroomy and orangey. Piney, lightly alcoholic, but still sort of balanced and smooth. Everlasting finish. Perhaps a bit intense this one, but sure pleasant. 230318

330ml can, #1682, 13, 49 % abv, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Slowly diminishing tan head, black as pitch in the glass, clingy lacing. Attractive on the nose with roasted grainy malts, hints of chocolate and spruce. Fine blalanced taste of dark bread, chocolate, and spruce followed by a prominent backdrop of coffee. Full bodied. Sits right. (Tromsø 28.01.2023).
0,33 litre Can, from Vinmonopolet Lillehammer. Black with high brown head. Roasted malts, yeast, hops, coffee, Chocolate, orange, some dry bitterness. Hides The alcohol well! Nice.
