This dunkel poured a deep brownish orange colour with a nice, creamy, tan coloured head. To the nose there are scents of ripe fruit, cider, figs, a little vinegar and soy sauce. First sip was very thin/watery with flavours of raisin and dates. Slightly over-carbonated. Cider / over-ripened fruit very prodominent. Finish is thin.

50cl Bottle, brought from Berlin by my girlfriend, thanks Manon! Hazy dark amber brown colour, dense off white head. Aroma of caramel, wheat, light spices, hint of banana. Flavour is light sweet, wheat, caramel, light roasted malts, some plastic, light bitter malty finish. Light to medium bodied.

Leicht säuerlicher und wässrig hefiger Antrunk, malziger Unterton, die leichte Säuerlichkeit schwindet. Im Mittelteil typisch hefig-malzig, insgesamt mild aber nicht spritzig. Leichtsäuerlich im Abgang werdend, wässrig. Test vom 12.3.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,10,8,6,9,8 - 8,05

Bottle. Dark red / brown color with a creamy light brown head. Sweet, spiced and quite wheaty nose. Flavour of banana, cloves, yeast and some fruit.

Bottle. Malty aroma, a little spicy and yeasty. Brown colour, small head. Malty flavour with a clear yeast aftertaste which I do not care for.

A hazy brown beer. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of roasted bread and alcohol. The flavor of roasted bread on a sour background and with some malt sweetness in the foreground. An OK beer, but nothing special.

Dark amber color. Ordinary aroma, Dunkel Weiße, malt, caramel and banana. Too thin body (some banana again). Not interesting.
