Canned. Murky deep brown opaque colour with a mediumsized brown head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is coffee, some spices, quite strong nuts as well as some slight sugary and mild tart wooden notes. Flavour is nutty, mild wooden notes, some burnt sugar, a bit old cold coffee as well as some slight spices. Alcohol hidden quite well.

150ml draught at Sori Taproom. Naked black surface. Deep dark brown body. Clingy lacing. Smell of roasted dark malts, caramel and chocolate. Nicely blended taste character of cocoa, chocolate, and dark dough. Smoothly roasted ending. Fine depth. Pleasant porter. (Helsinki 28.11.2017).

A colablack beer, a head is quite small and beige. Aroma has roastiness, chocolate, some sweetness of malty wort and coffee. Taste has coffee, chocolate, and some herbal bitterness and roastiness. Medium bodied. Quite good beer, it's difficult to say anything more.

Can at PWF. Dark brown, tiny brownish head. Caramel, rye bread malty nose. Medium-bodied. Watery for this abv. Caramel, rye bread, cocoa, harsh notes, alcohol. Suprisingly different than Mexican vanilla version I had before.

Tap @ St Urho’s pub, portteripäivät 2017. Poured near black with a thin brown head. Aroma has grains, toast, dark bread. Porridge like, very grainy, malty, bready. Good drinkability. Really nice, different porter.

(Keg at Rotterdam, 20170207) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and nearly white. Aroma had burnt malts, cocoa powder and metal. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, dark chocolate, burnt malts, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, burnt and bitter. A rather nice sweet and burnt brew with weird metal notes.
