(Keg at BrewDog Helsinki, 20171022) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, vanilla and booze. Palate was burning with alcohol, full bodied and with medium carbonation. Flavours were alcohol burning, more booze, burnt malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was boozy and bitter. A burning boozy mess.

Bottle. Dark-brown color, weak foam. Mighty aroma: vanilla, caramel, coffee, chocolate, whisky, cocoa. Taste is very warming, chili pepper, strong alcohol, whisky, caramel, dried fruits, a little prunes. Very good.

Black. Smells of whisky, malt and caramel. Taste is the same. The barrel aging seriously comes through as you drink it. Rich, smooth, a bit of alcohol-harshness. Nice!
