On tap at Werewolf, pours a clear amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out intensely spicy, with earthy, spicy hops; and bready malt. Flavour is very rye-dominated, with lots of intensely spicy rye and earthy hops. Lots of dry malt to balance too. Very good.

One-third on tap, sample tray, guest beer at Hammerton taproom. Good looking in the glass with its deep copper coloured body, remaing off-white head blanketing the glass. Promising grain-fruity aromas. Fine blended taste of bread. ripe citrus, hints of caramel and dried stewed fruits. Mid-dry resinous bitterness to the ending. Fine depth to it. A good one. (London, 08.12.2023).
